Recommendations to Italy or France?

Hey y'all!

Hi

First of all - where are you from? This would help answering your question on transport

Trains are amazing in Italy - checkout the webiste trenitalia.com.

Do you want it to be touristy or rural? Tuscany or Emilia-Romagna?

I think we are going to need a little more info from your side

Hey, I'm from Estonia. The transport to the country isn't much of an problem. However the smaller cities that i'm looking into doesn't have airports so the question about transport is how to get around the country.

I'm looking into different opportunities and I don't have many preferences about regions or types of vacation (although it would be nice to be somewhere by the coast) so any kind of proposals are welcomed

I would recommend arriving in Paris. Then take a train and get out of the train in Lion. Then rent a car and drive south, you will drive about 3-4 hours and will pass many small towns. You will go through Avignion (historial Papal seat). then you will reach the coast and you can turn left and drive to italy.

Hi,
Personally I would highly recommend going to Nice in the South of France as a destination. It is a coastal town and there are so many things you can see and do from there that will fill up your holiday. Cassis is really beautiful but it's a small town and there isn't much to see around it (this is a more of a stop over town on your way to Marseille or Toulon)...

There are many transport routes into Nice (train, coach & airport), and from Nice you can visit Monaco (luxury), Eze village (medieval), St Paule de Vence (art), Grasse (perfume), Villefranche-sur-Mer, Bellet (wines), Juan-les-Pins (beaches), Cannes, Antibes, Biot and more... and most of these trips you can do in 1 day (like Eze and Monaco you can see in one day, same with Cannes, Antibes & Biot).

Nice you can also do like guided tours & day trips with a company if you want or there's loads of other activities to do like cycle, snorkle, boat trips etc...

Nice has a great nightlife too. The whole city is full of restaurants and bars etc.

The trains from Nice also go directly to Italy. From Nice you can get a train to Vintimiglia (2,5hrs) which will then give you access to trains that go to pretty much most places in Italy.

Hope this helps...
