Shanghai Expo 2010

The last time I went to Shanghai the city was so dusty and construction sites where everywhere.

aside from this Expo with that very annoying blue mascot that haunted every space in Shanghai and beyond, What is there to see in Shanghai this time of the year

aside from the expo, you can also go to yu garden ,Jade budda temple, oriental pearl TV tower.Ofcourse ,2010 EXPO still the main theme in this city.

Shanghai expo starts from 1st MAY 2010.

So I will be avoiding the crowds and the high prices then.

But I do want to get a glimpse of something without paying for tickets...

I'm heading to Shanghai very soon, it will be my third time...

Is it just me? I don't it a great place to be a tourist... I was there last year and me and my roomate almost made it to the zoo, coz we ran out of interesting places to visit. I am just visiting a friend and maybe do hostel hopping, and atleast 1 club and 3 bars.

i want to see a huge park with no fees, where???

Well, I'm heading there very soon too, for my N'th time, oh wait, I was born there.
Shanghai is a great place to start when visiting surrounding cities, but in itself I'd have to say there's nothing too much for tourists. If you want places to go, do a few day trips to Zhejiang, plenty of stuff there.

I have been to Shanghai when I was a little girl. The only thing I can remember is our visit to grandma's younger sisiter. So I am still very excited about travelling to Shanghai and have a look at Expo.

Shanghai is a beautiful city now.
And the World Expo Shanghai 2010 will start from 1st May to 31th Oct.
The room price so far in Shanghai is still reasonable. Travellers don't worry about it.
As been a Chinese, we are pleased to see more foreigners to come to Shanghai to enjoy the Shanghai Expo 2010.

The only thing I do in Shanghai is go to bars...

and I got my heart broken on the 1st night... very dangerous city, he he he.

But I am giving this another 7 days.

There are some bars in Shanghai that are quite good, one night I went to a bar and there was this performer that sounded exactly like michael jackson, upon hearing it I thought the guy must be a foreigner, but he was Chinese, pretty cool. however it seems like 90% of other bars in Shanghai gets it completely wrong, very loud music (on speakers) that I cant even hear myself think and nothing much else happening apart from that...
