You guys should be OK. I figure $50/day for singles in SEA, $70 couples. This includes: room, food, transport, tours. If you stay in fan rooms, eat with the locals, use buses over trains, don't party nightly, you should be able to make $7600 last for 3 months easily. The 4th month will be iffy using the $70/day figure. It is much cheaper to stay in one location for a week or so than moving almost daily. If you find a spot you like and it is cheap, stay a week rather than 3-4 days. You will be substantially under the $70/day budget guide while in one spot. Use that saved money for your 4th month.
