You shouldn't have a problem finding the same medication in New Zealand but you may find it has a different brand name here. When I asked the doctor for some more of the medication that I had been prescribed in the UK she had to google it to find the equivalent here in NZ!
A visit to the doctors will cost you between $50 and $60 here.
Thanks Bex! Feel a bit better knowing that Do you know if I just need to bring a prescription from my doctor or if I would need a letter to accompany it? I'm a bit of a worrier and need to know a lot before I go somewhere!!
