Our family ( wife and three kids 12,10,8 ) are going to live on an orphanage in Bolivia for 2011. We are considering purchasing a vehicle in San Tiago and driving up to La Paz, and driving back to San tiago to sell before returning to NZ. Is this practical?
What is involved with buying a car in Chile?
We will bring camping gear since also want to travel down to Torre de Paines. Would you suggest a car or bus travel thanks.
