We are looking for a good place to stay for our coming holiday next month in Hanoi, Vietnam. Please give me some suggestion which suite for a young couple with a fair pocket. It will be our first time in Vietnam, so we want to make sure everything will be alright over there.
Hi fellow, I would love to share with you my great experience from our trip. We just visited Vietnam couple of weeks ago. It was pretty much of good stuff going on over there. Vietnamese people are celebrating for their biggest festival for over 1000 years. If you can start to go bit earlier, you may catch up some from it.

As I am sure you already know, there are hundreds of hotel options in HAN. I suggest you click on the 'accommodation' option, top of this page. Select VN, Then HAN. Pick a price range and read the reviews. Top reviewed hotel are listed first. Pick 5-10 hotels that fit your price range, have the amenities you want. Then go over to 'tripadvisor'. Read the reviews for those hotels and you will have a good idea of where you might like to stay. Good luck with your planning.

I like Hanoi's small, inexpensive 2-3* hotels centrally located in the Old Quarter or Cathedral District. I have stayed twice at the Gia Thinh Hotel of the , and you can't beat it for price and amenities. Sunshine has a new property in the Sunshine Palace Hotel that also looks very nice. I will be stopping in the city again in November and have booked the new . All of these places are priced between $25.-$40. a night, have an in-room computer, breakfast buffet, elevator, daily fruit plate plus the usual hotel items. Yes, you can also spend much less ($12.-$18.) for a room, but I'm a little picky and appreciate quality and a room in good condition.
