There is no bus from CA to SA. There is a thing called the Darien Gap which prevents it. There is no road. It is a swampy marsh that doesn't support a large scale road. There is more and more border traffic going through Turbo, but I have never done it.
It is my opinion that it is easier to fly from PTY to CTG or BOG than to go this route. But I have never been there.
Flying is the only option.The Darien Gap is only about 160 km long but it's just swampy marshland.
You can travel to Panama's east coast and make your way south to Colombia along the coast it's regular route now nothing dangerous just a rough boat ride-sorry it's late here and I have to be up early-do a search on poorbuthappy.com for details.
