Hey! Me and my friend are in Fiji at the mo and heading to NZ, OZ then Thailand. Its best to wing it....wouldnt bother booking to much in advance cos plans change. Travelled Oz the year before last aswell so if u need any advice or anything, just message me! x

I'm travelling to Australia on my own on the 27 December and travelling up the East Coast for a month. I want to spend New Year in Sydney but finding it really hard to find a hostel. Depending on where you are spending new year it may be worth booking something for then but I'm just hoping I can wing it up the east coast then without booking anywhere yet!
Do you have any ideas where you plan to go yet? If your around in any of the same places be good to meet with people! It's my first time travelling too and not too sure what to expect and essential to pack either. Really excited/nervous!

I am going to be flying in to Oz on the 24th November and spending a year travelling/working there starting with the east coast.. Im going on my own aswell and although Im looking forward to it, as a first time lone traveller its a bit nerve racking! Im gonna fly fly in to Brisabane, then head straight up to Airlie beach then work my way down to Sydney for New Year. Then after new year start looking for jobs.
What kind of work are you looking for while you are there??
I know a few people that are gonna be there at the same time but it's good to have plenty of contacts. Well up for a meet up if you're about the same time/place.
