I would suggest teaching English...
you do not have to speak japanese, and there is demand for teachers all over Japan...
and you dont have to be a native speaker either...
I think you need a degree, and I have heard from a friend who worked there that the Japanese are pretty hardcore about working hours, she applied for a job that wanted her to work in a private school 8.5 hours a day, 6 days a week, plus overtime...!
apparently the money is good though...
