Grouping Photos?

I see on several blogs that some people have found a way to take several pictures (usually 4+) and consolidate them into the space of 1 picture. In other words, they basically frame multiple smaller pictures to save space. This person's blog has several examples of what I'm talking about: http://marie-jose.travellerspoint.com/12/

Hi Greg,

Great to hear you like my blog!! I hope it will be an inspiration for people!!

As for grouping pictures, I used picasa which you can download for free. There is a function 'collage' with which you can group pictures.

Good luck!!

So basically those photos are put together as one new photo by a software program (you could use Photoshop for example or picassa obviously). A different way to do it would be to put say 4 thumbnail sizes next to each other and try and get that to look similar. The downside to this approach would be that all photos would always be the same size, which is a little different to the effect Marie-Jose achieves. On the plus side, it might save a little time once the original template changes are made.

This grouping is possible with the help of picassa, photo-shop or you can simply use paint to combine these photos.

Great! Thanks everyone. Exactly the answers I was looking for! Have a great day
