your trip sounds awesome, but maybe a bit too optimistic? it looks like your trying to cover a lot of ground and for even a year it seems like to go through all them places around the world properly your going to be doing a lot of travelling or not seeing too much of each country. how much u planning on taking with you for the year?

way way way way way way way to many countries!!!!! You will ruin your travelling by not spending quality time in each of the places you visit!!

for the year I was thinking on about £10,000 minimum to about £13,000.
Point taken.. I may just stick to Europe seeing as its my first RTW... and then save up and go and see the other side of the continent another time.
Any recommendations on were to go at different times in the winter/summer/spring?
Im guessing your coming from the US? I think you could prob fit in europe and a part of asia in a year fully (e.g SE Asia), an idea maybe like Asia during winter months in europe and europe during the summer half of the year as most of europe tends to be quite cold over the winter months.
dlovallo1 im from Liverpool, UK why would you think I was from USA? North America is the place that I wish to avoid out of all the countries...
I wish to spend a winter in eastern europe and perhaps a spring in SE Asia, in Australia our summer is there winter so that even's itself out and leave the America's for the autumn and we wish to be back returning to the UK just short of Christmas.
sounds like a decent plan then, and I dnt know why i assumed that, prob the whole leaving college thing. In that respect ignore most the things I said in my previous post haha,
