Anyone available to travel the whole state of California in May 2011?
You could come with me my friend in March want to do the whole of Cali, will be arriving in San fran 1st March

Don't you think that March is too early to visit some places like Yosemite or Parks in the northern Cali? I read that many roads in Yosemite are closed sometimes till mid May..!
Anyway, how long would you like to stay there?
Could I know if your friend is m or f?

Well right now my plans are frozen 'cause I've found a guy here that would like to come with me in Alaska, that actually it's my primary goal.
Anyway, just in case we couldn't travel up there, what I have in my mind for a California tour is kinda like that:
Fly to Los Angeles, drive up to Redwood stopping in San Francisco and Monterey Bay area, then drive along the coast. From Redwood head east to Lava Beds then south through the mountains to reach Yosemite, King's Canyon, Sequoia and finally Death Valley. From there, a little detour will lead us to Las Vegas (just to see) and then come back in CA heading to Mojave and Joshua tree.
This was my idea.. what do you think?
(The period would be between June and July, I guess.. 18-19 complete days of travel)
Only the high roads in yosemite are closed because of the snow meaning you cant get to lake tahoe via yosemite! The low roads arent closed, im going because i want to see it in the snow and then on my way home in the Autumn!

You're right, I know..
But, It'd be really difficult - I should say IMPOSSIBLE - for me to get holidays in that period.. all the people here is working so my boss will not let me to go!!
Anyway, my very favourite period to travel California would be the beginnings of May.. low prices, less people, good weather, green grass..!
