Just returned from a 13 months RTW trip from the USA to NZ via Cook Islands, OZ, south east asia, India to africa and back to the USA....bought as we went, cheaper for us then RTW tickets. Certainly less then 3000 pounds...i think it was about 3000 dollars!
thats good, did you have any problems in countries where you needed to proof of onward travel? and did you just buy tickets at airport/online a few days before or book then quite far in advance?
