Going to Salvador for Carnival. Not sure what type of tickets to buy....abadas?blocos? camerotes? Also, anyone have any suggestions as to where to buy them online....in english?
Camarotes are the stands (spectators), Blocos are parades. For blocos, you actually don't buy a ticket, but a t-shirt. You will have to wear the t-shirt to parade.

Due to a number of things in the works I have just been able to confirm my trip to Salvador for the carnival. Do you guys have any recommendations for hotels/hostels and is it too late to buy tickets for Blocos and Camarotes?
