Is it possible to add links to your blog of websites that you like?
So that it permanently shows in your side bar?
Yes, this is possible, although if I recall correctly, as a spam-blog-fighting measure, they won't show up until you've made 10 (?) entries. (Not certain if I'm remembering that correctly, nor if it's indeed still in effect.)
To create links for the sidebar, go to your blog management pages, then click on the manage "tab" in the upper right part of such a page, and then from the dropdown menu which appears, select the "Links" link. There should be a big green "Add a new Link" button there.
If I am not mistaken, the limit on not showing the links has been lifted. However they are now no-follow'd until the blog/user is 'trusted enough'. Typically, the feature isn't the easiest to find for spammers anyway, so this seemed like a fair compromise.
