Oh good so it's not just me! I just signed up on this site and I'm getting to grips with it before I leave in about 6 weeks, almost gave it up because of the image problem to be honest. You can't upload them but you can direct-link them from other sites, hopefully they can get it up and running quickly.

Me too. Had two months with no probs uploading my jpgs. Then in last few days, I get an error message: 'not valid image format'. Has some site change not been tested with Ubuntu?
Sorry about this everyone. It's fixed now.
The problem only seemed to be affecting the single file uploader and was due to a crash of the image resizing software.
