hey everyone! Im a 21 year old guy travelling to cairns in august and just wanted to see if anyone staying in gilligans around then? I wont be getting to hostel till about half 1 in morning and am booked up from the 21 till 26th. Anyone out in cairns same time get in touch if you wanna meet up Thanks
Hey Jimmy, just seen this thread and thought I'd see how your travel plans are going? Im off to Oz starting in Cairns in November and was trying to decide on where to stay for a few days as its the first place I'll be going to so want to try and be able to meet as many people as I can. I've also heard Gilligans is a popular place, but might have to give up any hope of sleep Just looking for any advice really. Also, have you booked to stay anywhere in Sydney, as Im thinking of staying in Wake Up? thanks, Dan

Yea i booked gilligans up because it just seemed like the easiest place to meet people. i imagine the first few nights il be to drunk to be bothered about the noise! yea for christmas and new year im staying at wake up my mate whos been out there said everyone goes on about it so i just imagined it best place to stay and i wanted to book it up out the way sort of thing. add me on facebook my email is jimmyboycpfchotmail.co.uk and my name is jamie mitchell.
