Mui Ne looks great on photo. My bus stopped there for a few minutes. I regret not staying, I was on my way to HCMC then.
But I get to be in Vietnam again and maybe I will visit Mui Ne.

I much preferred Nha Trang for beach, swimming. Bay tour is almost a must do when in NT. I did go over to Mui Ne for a day. You go for the sand dunes, not the beach. Most hotels have their own stretch of beach, usually very narrow, waves make it difficult to get out and swim. I would not miss either DaLat or NT over Mui Ne. covers most of this area.
I went to Mui Ne and really like it, it was a nice way to chill out for a few days after a few heavy nights in Nha Trang.
If you do go check out the food at Sizzlers - it was fantastic - up there with the best food I had in 18 months away!
Phu Quoc island is so much better than Mui Ne. You can enjoy the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. You can also heard about the two beautiful waterfalls in Phu Quoc. So I think Phu Quoc is worth seeing.
Both Phu Quoc and Muine are nice places. Muine beach more tourists than Phu Quoc. I would love Phu Quoc

Thanks so much for the feedback In the end I travelled to Nha Trang from Ho Chi Minh and skipped Phu Quoc and Mui Ne - just a case of too much to see and not a lot of time to see everything. Maybe next time

I trust you had a great time in Nha Trang. It is one of my fave cities in VN. Plenty to do, nice restaurants and clubs, great beach. When you have time, send me a PM about your visit to DaLat and NT.
