So I'm thinking about a long trip round different parts of Asia. I plan on wwoofing the way through I should add. Anyways I was wondering how difficult it would be to get from America to Malaysia and from there to the Philipenes and from there to the Sichuan province. I've also ideas floating around about going to Sri Lanka. What I ultimately want is an experience someplace where I may find people whom share an intimate relationship with nature. Tibet sounds perfect but I don't think it's going to be all that easy to get there-especially without a Chinese "tour guide". Bhutan is a possibility and I haven't thrown about the prospect of India. And if I decide to go to Japan where are the least developed areas. I'd greatly appreciate your advice and any possible destination suggestions. By the way, I've about two years max I want to spend traveling.
when in philippines, i suggest a luzon loop... manila to banaue to sagada to baguio to mt. pinatubo to clark airport then fly to palawan for el nido beach or/ and honda bay.
google those places...
I hope Sri Lanka will be on your list of destination to visit.
