I'm going on me own as well. I'm flying to Thailand first for 8days then onto Sydney the 15th Feb. Have no plans once I get there going to just go with the flow ye know.

I have my flight booked i land in Sydney Feb 3 i plan to hit a hostel somewhere around Kings cross. I plan to stay in Sydney for a little I'm not sure yet maybe 2 weeks then just head up the easy coast surfing and diving I also really wanna go to a theme park, maybe stopping in cairns for awhile and finding a job.

I arrive in Sydney on the 28th, gonna stay at the Blue Parrot heard its fantastic!! Probably hang around there for a week or so then im going to make my slowly up the Brisbane doing plenty of activities along the way..:-)

So your all travelling alone it sounds like Sydney is the best place to start. I will have to research the Blue Parrott. Have you booked a room before you get there are you just going to wait and see? How much money are you all taking?

Yes, its not one of the bigger ones but apparently if your on your own its the place to go and meet people.
Im only in Oz for 5-6 wks as I have a job back here unfortunately. Its not cheap out there so im gonna take a good few grand for sure.
