Can people give advice on this please? Id be really greatful, i'm going to Australia the end of next year and want as much information as possible from people that have been there
Perth is a must see.. its a beautiful city but very remote so a lot of people forget about it but its deff worth a trip over here..
Some of the highlights I've found are:
- Fraser Island
- Whitsundays
- Great Barrier Reef
- Litchfield National Park
- Bungle Bungles
- Uluru
- Blue Mountains
- Cape York
What you see will depend how long you're planning to be here and what you enjoy, there are heaps of less talked about places that are awesome, beach camping on the Eyre Peninsular is one of them. Travelling up the east coast might be a good introduction
All depends on how much time you've got and how you plan to travel around - if you are flexible and can book far enough ahead, you can get cheap flights around, or a bus ticket up the East Coast or a flexi-rail pass around NSW.... or you can get a car and drive - but distances can be huge, but then coming and going is at your whim.
I love the Great Ocean Road, the Little Penguins at Philip Island and St Kilda - all in Victoria!
Fraser Island and the Whitsundays are gorgeous - in QLD
Byron Bay, Mudgee Wine District and don't miss Sydney - in NSW
But my suggestions don't necessarily fit into one trip!!
