In order of distance from the centre :
Bromma is in central Stockholm and was the original airport. it is now served by STOL internal flights.
Arlanda is the main Stockholm airport. It is quite a long way North of the city.
Skavsta is located at Nykoping, to the South of Stockholm and is the main one served by Ryanair.
Vasteras is situated 120km North of Stockholm and is also served by Ryanair.
Best to stay in the centre and walk rather than bus in from a cheaper accommodation in the suburbs.
Prices are highish, but eased slightly by the reduced strength of the SEK. Alcohol and tobacco are particularly expensive.
Check the weather history. January has short days and occasional temperatures down to -25C.
