Hi Sophie..you are lucky enough to visit India for second time. I would suggest you to plan Mumbai, Kerala, Pondicherry, Chennai. This will be the best because..kerala is one of the best places on earth. So plan accordingly, try coach surfing for budget and free accommodation..that might help you while travelling.
