I enjoy viewing all the photographs that TP members post on this site. However, so many pictures are posted without any description, location, or title. Taking a little time with an explanation of the picture; the who, what, when and where of the subject would be very helpful. There have been a number of beautiful photos posted that just have a digital number and as many of us travel vicariously through the posted pictures, please give us some information about the shot!
We've actually started pulling as much information automatically from the photos as we can (where possible), but unfortunately that isn't included on a ton of photos. One thing I should mention is we ONLY look at photos with a location set for featuring, so anyone wanting to have their photos featured should at the very least add the location. Like you say, the more information the better in terms of helping out the mods!
Thanks for the update. I appreciate the efforts by the mods and the work they do. If the TP posters would add a little more info I think it would improve the photography section of TP tremendously.
