The cheapest I found is called CH 2. You can google it and find the address. It is very near Khao San road. I think one night is app 150b. It is very simple and basic, but clean. There is a small "bar" downstairs with reasonable prices.

Well how much per night would be "cheap" for you. When asking for hotels and hostels give a price other than just cheap.
You can have a cheap place in a bad location where you must use taxis to get around. Then there are places that may be a dollar or two higher priced per night but have close access to cheap overhead rail service. A place where you can easily walk to restaurants, malls, nightlife, etc. might end up better than a cheaper place in an out of the way location.
A private room in a small hotel or guest house starts around 600 baht in Bangkok. This is a room with air conditioning, TV and private toilet and shower.
Here are a few hostels in Bangkok not far from the Skytrain which is an overhead rail service.

It is possible to use rail service from the airport to these above places if you arrive before midnight.

Actually, in Bangkok, you don't have to sleep in a dorm to save some money. Check , they have private rooms with shared bathroom starting from THB 150.
I've stayed here a few years ago: a cheap, clean and conveniently located guesthouse.
