So this summer a few of my friends and I are going to be spending time in London, Paris and Rome. I am wondering what is the best and cheapest way for us to travel around these cities for 3 or 4 days each??
Probably by travelling by plane. Many discount airlines fly to those 3 destinations and you can get really cheap tickets if you book early. Since you are travelling together with friends you could also rent a car. Especially since you want to visit places outside those cities. The downside is that it takes a lot of time to drive to those cities by car. Also keep in mind that in France and in Italy you have to pay to use the highway.
Presuming you do mean ' travel around these cities' - all have bus and metro networks. What you want from 'best' and whether you consider them cheap I do not know, but those are your options unless you taxi everywhere (not cheap). 'Google' away for all the detail.
