I'll be traveling to Europe alone this summer for about a month. I have my ticket but no real set plans. I would love to meet people along the way and thought I'd post a thread on here to see if I got any bites.
I'm a very easy going woman and am up for anything! I love traveling, cooking, swimming, and sightseeing. I've also used travbuddy but havent found as much luck on there as I would like.

This will be my first time traveling, I'm actually looking for a place to travel and Europe is a possible option.
Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for your ticket and to where?

I bought it this weekend VERY spare of the moment. I paid $1,450 from Boston to Amsterdam. I paid 200 extra because I wanted to fly us airways and get more miles!
But i did find other flights around 1,200. Also if your dates are flexible then thats the best way youll get a cheap flight. Another thing is, is that the Olympics are going on this summer in london, so prices are totally up because of that.

I work until the 15th of June, then I'll be FREEeeee. But holy cow... 1500. Sigh. I live in SF, California. I wish I were rich or the fares weren't so expensive, and to top it off.. I don't think Euros will make it any better.
If I decided to travel to Europe, I'd leave around the end of June.
very nice. yeah i know its expensive. only reason why i booked the flight is because it was a graduation gift from my parents.
also if you stay in hostels or do couch surfing its MUCH cheaper! i have a connection with marriott hotels so im only staying in a few of those. they come to around 40ish usdollars a night which is nice. but you can even get CHEAP hostels for around 15$ a night.
my graduation gift was 7 years ago and that was to vietnam. i think i'd appreciate it much more now that i'm 23 though, lol.
yeah, i was looking into couch surfing, oh how nice it would be to end up going to europe.
oh well. if i figure things out and it so happens i decide europe, i'll shoot you a message or your parents can buy me a ticket as well and you'd have a lifetime friend! lol.
