This ad was placed yesterday. Seems to be an agency of some sort, so be careful if they ask you to hand over any money before you start work.
Get on to gumtree. It is quite hard to find work sometimes because so many people want it, I got mine done in the end. It was not fun! Alot of the work is really hard, in hot weather and you don't get a lot of money, but its so worth it to stay another year and you can make some friends too. There a few sites that will tell you what time of year you need to be in a certain place but I think queensland is pretty much all year! You can ring the national harvest hotline and look on there website, you can pick up a little booklet with the harvest trail in too, in info centres and hostels etc. If you have any trade experience you can sometimes find work on an outback farm for example a mechanic. Good luck, Oz is really expensive so try and save as much as you can before you get here.
The previous poster mentioned the harvest trail, which would certainly be one of the first I'd check out. Here is the .
