WHATEVER you do DO NOT go to a town called Ongerup!! its awful! i lasted 4 days and cried!! if you can get to Corrow for work thats good. There is an aussie work agency on barrack st in perth that is good!! hope this helps - Nina
This is a bit of an old post, so you might have already worked something out.
I met an attractive English girl working in a outback pub south of Cairns in Queensland. I asked how she was handling it as the place really did look pretty rough. she said they are all pussy cats really. they talk big and like to wind you up, but as long as you can give them back as good as you get then she said they have a sort of respect for you. I say go for it.
