Is anyone traveling to Malaysia KL around this time? I'll be travelling solo and would love a shopping companion or someone I can explore the city with so it wouldn't be so scary... Im 28 -female. Thanks.
KL is ok if do shopping, it is not so scary. but the traffic is really bad and there is jam everywhere especially high traffic hours.

I wasnt planning on spending a huge amount of time there - my rough plan is to get a flight up to Bangkok and then work my way down to the full moon party on septmebr 19th - then head back over to KL for my flight out to Oz on September 30th.

I'm from the UK but flying into Brisbane September 30th - before heading up the east coast until i need to get a job!
the full moon party is september 19th - so i reckon i will be getting back to KL around 22nd.
