My wife and i would like to travel through some of the Balkans in the spring. This is our initial itinerary looks like this, Leave Canada for Budapest, then Belgrade, Sarajevo, Monstar, Ostrog Monastery, Kotor and Dubrovnik (just to get transportation to Solvenia) then back to Budapest.
We have about 6 weeks and would like to spend as much time in Solvenia as possible. We have previously visited Croatia before for 4 weeks. Are we trying to cover to much area in 5 weeks.
Are there any issues with border crossing?
We will probably travel by train or bus until we get to Solvenia and we will get a car rental.
hi!
you surely have enought time to do everything.
I cant remember any issues with borders, just remember to keep the hotel/hostel registration in Serbia, police might control it.
If you travel from budapest to belgrade by night train be careful, scams and thiefs are not legends there.
I had some experience...
