Like the above states I'm planning on coming to England on a work visa and I'm just wondering when is the best time of year ?
Unless you have a needed skill, now is not really a good time since there is expected to be a lot of immigrants coming in from eastern Europe to the UK this year looking for jobs. Any jobs.

Anything really I work in tourism. I'm going to be working holiday so I'm not too picky. I speak 3 languages and typically work in hotels and such.
It is going to be tough - there's a lot of competition from Europe. Not impossible though, particularly if you've got some experience. It will be incredibly hard to find work doing something you don't already have experience in.
In London demand is year-round, though a little higher in the summer. There are a lot of jobs here, but also a lot of competition.
Outside of London, peak season is June-September and particularly during the school summer holiday, hotels will often take on a few extra casual staff to cope with the increase.
