Hi chloe i will be in sydney over this time looking to get an apartment over xmas and new year as its looking so much cheaper than hostels.
Im flying with a friend and a girl i met on here and then meeting another girl i met on here at the airport 6th november. The four of us have oz intro week til 17th dec and then accomodation in the base hostel until 2nd december plan is to find a job asap but well see.

I'm meeting with my friend who is already out there, she's been in Aus since Dec 28th so her WHV is coming to an end so I'm spending December with her I think our plan is to travel the east coast. She leaves just after Christmas. Where are use planning on being around this time, would be great to meet up with use before Natalie leaves or after xx

What kind of advice are you looking for regarding post-NYE travel? What to do and where to go in terms of sights and attractions or work?
Incidentally, I do suggest looking for work as soon as possible rather than wait until your money runs out. It took my partner almost two months to find a job and in that time most travellers will have used all their savings.
I also suggest getting out of Sydney rather quickly too as it is so expensive! If you stick to the east coast and head north you'll be hitting the tropics during the wet season so you might want to head south to begin with. Besides, Melbourne is brilliant in summer (huge bias)
Let me know if you have any questions and if you're after advice on sights and attractions, tell us what you're into i.e. hiking, galleries, festivals, etc.

Hi chloe cant find you lol..whats your profile picture? mine is me and another girl quite close up. we will be in Sydney at this time as we are looking to get an apartment between us as hostels are looking at around 500 each for 2 weeks! and we need accommodation for longer anyways.
I have a few leads for jobs in Sydney when im there so im hoping to get a job pretty soon.
