Europe Trip Advice!

Hi Guys,
I am flying to Amsterdam in April to visit my friend on the 8th and I arrive the 9th so a Friday. We are going to be in Amsterdam the whole day Friday, Saturday and potentially Sunday. I then have until the 18th (Following Sunday) to be back at the Amsterdam airport. In between we want to go visit 1 or 2 spots in europe.

People often make the mistake of trying to cram too much into such a short space of time while
in Europe. Yes you can travel from one country to another quickly but the last thing you wanna
do is spend a 1/3 or more of your time in transit.
I personally havnt been to Denmark, but Vienna is a good choice and you could do a stop over
in somewhere like Prague to or from Austria. Prague is awesome and fairly cheap too compared
too many other parts of Europe, easy to get around aswell. Have you thought about flying instead?
Much quicker and usually cheaper too.

Copenhagen and Vienna might be a bit too far. It simply would take you too long to get there and back to Amsterdam unless you fly.

I strongly suggest you look at a few spots that are closer or easier to reach.

For example there is a night train from Berlin to Amsterdam and back. You could travel in your sleep instead of wasting a day on travelling. You could combine this with a short 1-day visit to Cologne.

Other possible options could be Brussels and Paris.
