You must go to Jiuzai gou(九寨沟) and Huanglong(黄龙), it's a short flight away from Chengdu, and both places can be reached from the airport you'll be flying to (with a fair taxi ride). I went there a few month ago, slightly pricy but really worth the effort. Saw the pandas on the way back too. Only wished i had the chance to stay longer.

ya, as what IZI said, the first place worth ur visit is jiu zhai gou. it is one of the most famous view point in west china. actually the suitable season for traveling there is autumn by when all the tree leaves and grasses become colorful and cast their shadow in blue water, blue as beryl. u will get shocked by the beauty. one kind of beauty can take ur breath.
and another place named e mei mountain. around 5hours bus from chengdu. i went there in the new years holiday last year.

However, the real thing is 100 times better than the photos (because i have a simple camera that cant capture the wide angle and gets too much reflection...arhhhh)
we have already deciede to go and just do whatever comes to mind, not any huge plans but is there anything we shouldnt miss while there?
were visiting my aunt and uncle in chengdu, and going to stay at a temple of a rimpoche we know in tibet.
I want to see pandas at somepoint and thats pretty much all i know. i just want to relax and be in peace, but i want to see everything as well.
im a huge nature lover so is there any must see flora and fauna?
I'm not worried about seeing culture considering my aunt is chinesejust tell me the must sees!
Jiu Zhao Gou in Si Chuan is a must see.
