Where to eat in Spain

T.I.C. has indicated that this thread is about Spain

I'm currently planning a trip to Spain this December2010, around 28th Dec till 5th Jan 2011.
Is it difficult to find nice foods around this time?

El Bulli is not bad in Barcelona...

Alfredos Barbacoa in Madrid has awesome food and its not expensive.

If you visit Madrid, you must vist Segovia which is only an hour away. A very beautiful city with many excellent restaurants. The most popular one is Candido. All of them specialize in roasted lamb and piglet.

A nice place de in Madrid is Asador de Aranda.

In Madrid, there's a chain called Lateral that has really good Spanish food and wine. I recommend going to the one in La Plaza Santa Ana because it has outdoor seating, and during the warmer months, the atmosphere is great and there are always performers nearby. Also, if you want a fun, local place, El Tigre is known for its cheap drinks that come with tapas - go early because it gets crowded! In the Mala Saña area, there are tons of good restaurants that aren't as touristy and have really good food. One that I liked was called Ojalá. Enjoy!
