I am a first timer in Africa but I am used to hardcore camping and I have some questions.
Has anyone stayed at the Masai Mara national park budget accommodations before? How cheap are they? Are they really as bad as they say they are? What do I need to take with me to be able to survive in these camps? How far are they from the national park? Are there public transportations that take you from the accommodation to the park? How much does the park fee cost per person per day? How do you get around in the park if you're an independent traveler?
