There is no station at St. Andrews. Leuchers is the nearest station - about 5 miles away.
You will be better off getting a flight to Scotland - rather than London, if your plan is just St. Andrews. It's a long way - over 400 miles - and unless you buy a rail ticket in advance, your fare will be expensive.
You cannot do a round of golf at St. Andrews, unless you are member or an invited guest of a member, if you don't book a round ages in advance.
it also cost a fortune to play there if u can get a round.
personally i've driven it from london, but it's a long drive to do in 1 day and you're better off splitting your journey over 2.
