Around the world 2012

Hi guys,

Hi,
You have to include South Africa! This country have sooooo much to offer and is absolutely stunning!
Regards.
Charmaine

Hello!

I was travelling for two and a half years around the world. I haven't been to everywhere, but based on my experience I would take the following route - if you are up for a real life-time adventure, and not a hostel to hostel guy:
Eastern Europe (Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia/Azerbaijan), Turkey, Syria, (thru Turkey) Iraqi Kurdistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, China (thru Xinjiang province), Pakistan, India (Punjab, Kashmir, Leh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan), Nepal, back to China (Tibet Autonomous Region - Quinghai - Sichuan - Yunnan - Guanxi), Laos, Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, Singapore (fly to Australia).

The above route combines the most amazing people / cultures and scenery. You will have a lot of hassle with visa/permits, but it will worth it. Of course, check actual security situation for Iraqi Kurdistan, East Turkey, Pakistan, Kashmir.

If you keep your budget to the tightest (cheapest lodging, eating at street stalls, small shops, sometimes hitching), you can make it from GBP 8,000.

Let me know if you need more info.

Don't hesitate, just do it!
