Im Dan, 20 from South Wales.
Im travelling round europe this summer starting with a flight from bristol to paris at the end of may. I havent got anything set in stone yet but ive got a month untill i travel down to salou in spain to stay with a friend for a few weeks, then over to sardinia to meet my mates from home for a couple of weeks.
Any good ideas or plans let me know my friend

Not really got any ideas myself yet mate. I was thinking touring east europe because its fairly cheap, not really too sure what the plan is as yet. Im trying to get a job in greece or cyprus for the holiday season at the mo, but its not really happening.
Ive been to Poland a couple of times and am off there again beginning of May for a friends wedding, its a nice place and on "the list", so is Norway because I have a bit of an obsession with it Other than that Christ knows.

Hey , im a guy turning 18 soon and basically i want to just hit europe and be gone for a longish period of time preferably towards a year.
I would basically like to do it on a shoestring and a tight budget and just see where it takes me.
I like the idea of hitching in places to keep costs down etc .
I am entirely new to travelling but really eager to get out and do it while I have no ties.
I have only considered going solo up to yet due to a lack of knowing like minded people basically.
Working in places to fund is something i would also look to do.
I do have a few places i would like to see/experience etc but i am easy going and enjoy the laughs just as much.
I would love to get any advice , or does and donts etc or even be pointed to companions . basically any help is appreciated.
Going with a companion would be much better for me.
i know this thread is over a month old , but maybe someones still looking at it .

I might travel alone down EURO.. but then I'll only start mine around Sept. Me too haven't get everything settle in place. But the first place i'm touching will be Amsterdam, flying from Liverpool/London. Then travel for about 2-3mths and do some surfing over ppl place. I'm in tight budget.. any kewl events happening around that country that time.. is a BONUS to me. :D
