Planning a two week trip to Zanzibar arriving into Dar Es salaam and getting the ferry over. Don't want to spend the whole two weeks on the beach so would appreciate any tips on things to do either in and around Dar or on Zanzibar. Have read about Jozani Chwaka Park and will definitely include this in the itenerary so tips regarding tours here are welcome. Is it worth staying near the reserve or just making a day trip of it? We're on a budget so can't be too extravagent.
