Best online photo website

Hey,

Uhm, Travellerspoint

If you store the original photo (tick it when uploading your photos) and your parents have your log-in details, they can download them at home.

Cheers
Mike

Hmmm, i thought that. But would i be able to store alot on here? I don't want to have a certain amount to space?

Thanks, Claire

Guys can anyone help me? I'm really stuck with what to do with my photos

Uploading a non-trivial number of photos in full resolution takes a rather significant amount of time, especially over the crappy internet connections you might encounter while travelling; that would be a problem far earlier than the space limits of services such as travellerspoint, dropbox or flickr. (I'd recommend burning DVDs with backups while on the road - assuming you're taking a laptop - and sending these home by post. (Note: don't delete the originals on your side until you've confirmed that the DVD has been received with the photos on it being readable.))

What you could do here at travellerspoint is indeed what Utrecht says, and then once the original photo has been safely downloaded and backed up on DVD by your parents, you can delete that original version (keeping only a web-sized version), freeing up the space again. As a full member, you can store 1GB of original photos (and that becomes 5GB as a respected member, which I suspect you'll hit sooner or later during your travels).

Thanks! I'll try travellerspoint and see how i get on. I'm taking a netbook which doesnt accept disks, but i guess memory sticks would do the same job?

Claire
