u guyz are dumb than me, uk is united kingdom which consists of wales england ireland and scotland..
it is not a part of schengen area.
i hoped for a mature answer from this forum..
please reply if u know the immigration rules and general grounds of refusal for schengen visa..
i have not been deported or overstayed my visa or anything like that , i just have been rejected visa on basis of 320(7b) of uk immigration rules ..

If Poster #2 really believes that France, Germany, Italy etc. are all part of of the UK then you might have a point in his case. My remark was strictly tongue-in-cheek, sorry it went over your head.
In any case it's highly unlikely that I'm dumber than you since you submitted forged documents that are very easily verified to an original G6 country's Immigration Office in a post 9/11 world. That sir is the absolute definition of dumb.

Not quite right there. United Kingdom is short for "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland." Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales. Ireland in general means the Republic of Ireland, which does not include the northern bit which is part of the UK.
Now, to answer your original question, the 10-year ban is for the UK only. However, because the UK is member state of European Union, it is possible that the other EU countries might take into account the ban by the UK when deciding on whether to grant you a visa.
