Hi All, My best mate and myself are looking at doing some traveling hopefully will be leaving Australia start of August for Thailand and spend 3-4 weeks there and then move onto Europe. We have a few countries in mind but are just going to go with the flow and see where we end up. As i live in Australia at the moment and have traveled to most states in Australia if you have any questions about Australia feel free to ask and hopefully i can answer them.
Hey Aussiemate 1989, I've just booked a trip to Brisbane and fly in on 20th Sep. I'm really just writing to enquire if you know the best way (and cheapest) to get from Brisbane to Cairns and what are the really "must see/do" destinations along the way, I've attempted to look into it, although to be honest everything looks amazing and with a small budget, I just won't be able to afford it all! I've got a working visa, so hopefully going to settle somewhere and keep having little trips to see as much as i can while working and having a permanent base. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Shame you're going to Thailand then Europe and not the other way round as you'll miss all the big music festivals pretty much......and the weather is crap in Europe in Autmn/Winter!!!!
Hi kimmy23 ive only ever flown to Qld but probally the easiest and cheapest way would be by bus. along the coast in Qld is awesome spends some time at the Gold coast and check out the great barrier reef and just work your way along the coast.
Hi boozyfloozy_si. Yeah have had enough of my job and just waiting for the end of the month as its the end of the financial year inAustralia and im going to grab my tax return money and put it with my savings and im off. Sort of thought Thailand first because its cheaper for me to fly to Thailand then fly onto Europe from there rather then Europe from Australia. and also ive been to Thailand before and i love it just going to take the essentals in my suitcase and buy alot of clothes and what ever in Thailand.. No real places set in stone yet as where to after Thailand but i want to try and visit Italy,Greece,Germany,Belgium,England,Spain,Amsterdam,and Sweeden.
Whats some of your favourite places in Europe and why and what places have i missed i Should visit in your mind?
