Europe in March

Hello!

London, Paris, Rome? It depends on what you like.

Weather will probably be cold and wet in March, maybe even snow.

There's a number of cheap airlines for getting about like Ryanair. I find lowcostholidays generally has cheap and good accommodation.

That's kind of generic. What do you want to see? Are you into city stuff, historic sites, food, shopping???

It will probably be cold and wet still, even in the Mediterranean (though not as cold and wet).

I went to Europe last March. I would suggest going to Prague, its very cheap and beautiful. I would also suggest going to Italy, anywhere in Italy haha. You can get a cheap flight or train from prague to Itlay. Venice is Beautiful and Milan has great night life (not much night life in venice). Then From Italy, you can go to Switzerland! Its amazing there! Hike in the Swiss alpes and go on wine tours! If you take a train from Italy to Switzerland you get to go through the swiss alpes its absolutely insane. That was pritty much my trip, went for 10 days and I wouldnt change it for the world.

Thanks for all the answers, especially travel148.

We really have no major things we need to do, although shopping and wine tasting would be great.

Because of the weather, is it even worth it to go to Europe at that time? Or is it better to wait until it is warmer? Do you think we will be limited due to the weather?

Hi,

Did you considered Portugal?
During March we have interesting places with very nice weather and inexpesive.
For instance Évora is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a lovely city museum. The wine is great, the people are very friendly and for sure you will have a good time.
I'm a Tour Leader, in case you need some tips just let me know and if you need a proposal for a tour in Portugal or Spain just let me know.

Have fun,
David Monteiro
