where abouts are you going???
if your heading out to thailand,vietnam,laos,i can assure you that you will meet fellow backpackers along the way all out having a crazy,amazing time..
first time i went to thailand i headed straight for ko san road in bangkok,met other backpackers and from then onwards was never alone!!!
wherever you are in south east asia your never really alone,theres always fellow backpackers about and if not then your never farway from a bar and the thai's are always more than welcoming and friendly...unfortunately ihave to wait untill january before i leave

Thanks for the answer...it´s the kind of info I need to be even more motivated.
The 3 countries you mentioned are, with Cambodia, the ones that interest me the most.
Everyone tell me is so easy to meet people over there, but the thing is, Am I going to meet the people looking for the same?
I lived in Manchester and Amsterdam, alone the 2nd time, and it always takes a while to meet those guys, who are gonna be your FRIENDS. That´s why I´m a little worried about it...I wanna meet this people as soon as I get off the plane, hehe!
Where are you going in January? If you are going to SE Asia Let me know!
