Is anyone on the Queensland coastline at the moment give a quick weather summary about where they are now, or a general view of what its been like for a past few weeks.

I can't answer for southern Qld, but here in Cairns we have had 36 inches of rain in the last 21 days! It has flooded, but receded in a day or two. Everything is running as per "normal."
I believe the south didn't get as much, so they should be fine too, but your best bet is to call or email a couple of Gold Coast businesses, such as backpackers and see what they say!
The trouble is, it's weather and unpredictable. So whats lovely and sunny today, could be a mess tomorrow.
I'm off to Melbourne this weekend and it could be anything there too from freezing to balmy.
Hey im currently in Brisbane and yes been raining but no flooding etc but also had few nice days been here about week so average okay weather. x
