Hi, I made the leap to stop dreaming and start saving ready for my dream working holiday in australia. I hope to go around december throught to as long as i can stay.BUT im not sure where to start do i book flights as soon as and then follow up with visas etc. Im going to book in with OzIntro as i worked out inviduil prices of what they offfer and they seem very well priced and hope itl give me an oppurtunity to meet friends as im travelling alone. Is that a good plan?? Does anyone have any set way they start of the plans?? Anyone looking for a traveling companion or to do similiar and has any tips. HELPPPP...

I'm still in the early stages, i'm going to australia at the end of december. Starting in sydney so can see the new year there. Then work my way around the country, up the east coast then melbourne etc.
Im getting a Working holiday visa so hopefully stay there for a long time
I dont know about doing the oz intro if you are doing it to meet people, you can do that with this forum and the facebook group

Definitely apply for the WHV first and book flights closer to your intended departure. The visa doesn't start until you arrive in Australia and you have a whole year to come to Australia once it is approved.
Other than small day trips and tours, a lot of the services provided by the UltimateOz/OzIntro package lot are things you can do yourself for free (Tax File Number, bank account, SIM card, etc). As for meeting people, that is the very nature of staying in hostels and backpacking. Hostels regularly hold social events to allow guests to meet other backpackers. You will definitely meet people as you go and you will also find a lot of people in the same situation here. Have a look at the before you go.
