Hi!
I'll be travelling with a friend from Lyon to Toulouse in July, during one week. I'd love to get reccomendations. We prefere small, authentic towns, getting to know people from there, seeing not too ded beaches...We will probably stay also in Marseille. Either we will travel by train or hopefully with a rented car or carsharing. We'll stay in hostels (any suggestions?) or couchsurfing and try not to rush, but to enjoy.
So, dear travellers, any suggestions of places we should see?

You should definitely rent a car so that you can go wherever you want ! A one week trip allows you to go and see a lot of beautiful places, like the Auvergne region in the center of France, and then you can head south !
