Copenhagen is best seen on foot or bike. The famous runs through the heart of Copenhagen, and you can't go wrong if you start your trip right there. Don't miss the - they're very generous! I don't remember exactly when closes for the winter, but you might want to check that and plan your trip so you get a chance to see this very unique amusement park in the center of the city.

Yes, Christania is a cool place. It's like a little Amsterdam.
You should definitely take the canal tour. You get to see everything, the route is beautiful, and you learn a lot. The cheapest tour is the Netto Boats that leave from Holmens Church http://www.netto-baadene.dk/.
You can easily see the city on foot, and it's definitely the best way to go.
The National Gallery is always free and is a great art museum that connects a new, modern building to the original museum building.

OH! And as for bars, beer tasting is great at Nørrebro Bryghus http://www.noerrebrobryghus.dk/21/ The beers are great and it's in a younger and more diverse part of town. Great place to start a night out.
